We are also proud to be Minnesota’s only woman-owned and operated crematory.
Because cremation is what we specialize in, families receive the professional care and support of a licensed funeral home without feeling pressured into services, spaces, or merchandise they may not need.
Most importantly, your loved one stays in our care. Are you local and woman-owned?

Yes. Minnesota Cremation Services is a local, woman-owned and family-run Minnesota company, and we are proud to operate Minnesota’s only woman-owned and operated crematory.
We are not a national chain or an online cremation company sending your loved one somewhere else for care. Our team is based right here in Minnesota, and our arrangements, care, refrigeration, and cremations are handled at our own facility in Rockford.
For families, that means you know exactly who is caring for your loved one and where they are throughout the process.We are a small but mighty team, and our decisions are made right here in Minnesota. Every family matters to us, and we are personally accountable for the care we provide.

Is the name on the building the same company caring for my loved one?

Yes. Minnesota Cremation Services is the company caring for your loved one from the time they enter our care through cremation and return of the cremated remains.
We operate our own private onsite crematory in Rockford, so your loved one is not transferred to another crematory or handed off to a separate company for the cremation.
We believe families deserve to know exactly who is caring for someone they love and where that care is taking place.

Who will I work with directly?

You will work directly with the Minnesota Cremation Services team.
Our licensed funeral directors and care coordinators will guide you through arrangements, paperwork, death certificates, cremation authorization, and any questions that come up throughout the process.
We are a small but mighty local team, and that is intentional. We want families to feel like they know who they are working with rather than feeling passed from one department or call center to another.If you call with a question, we want you to reach someone who knows your family and can actually help.

Do you serve our area?

Minnesota Cremation Services serves families throughout Central Minnesota, the Twin Cities, and many surrounding communities.
Our $1,995 direct cremation package includes transportation into our care from locations within 50 miles of our Rockford facility at no additional transportation cost.
Many funeral homes and cremation providers include a much smaller transportation radius before additional mileage charges begin. Our included 50-mile radius is more than double the 20-mile radius commonly seen with some providers, giving families across a much larger area access to our standard package without an added transportation fee.
We regularly serve families throughout Wright, Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Carver, Sherburne, Stearns, McLeod, Meeker, Scott, Dakota, Washington, Isanti, and surrounding counties. That includes communities such as Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, Edina, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Rockford, Buffalo, Monticello, St. Cloud, Hutchinson, Waconia, Chaska, Rogers, St. Michael, and many more.
If the place of death is more than 50 miles from our Rockford facility, we can often still help. Transportation beyond the included 50-mile radius is $4 per additional mile.
