Our direct cremation service package is $1,995. We believe families deserve to know what is included from the beginning. Many very low prices advertised online can look different once transportation, professional services, cremation containers, and other required services are added.

We take a different approach.

What’s Included in Our $1,995 Direct Cremation Package

Our direct cremation package includes:

• Transportation of your loved one into our care within our standard service area

• Arrangements and guidance with our licensed funeral directors

• Coordination with the hospital, hospice, nursing facility, physician, medical examiner, or other parties involved

• Completion and filing of the necessary cremation paperwork

• Alternative cremation container

• Cremation at our private, onsite crematory in Rockford

• Standard temporary urn

• One certified death certificate

• Online obituary and remembrance page, if your family would like one

We are not a traditional funeral home with a large chapel, elaborate spaces, or unnecessary overhead. Our facility was designed specifically around the respectful care of your loved one and the needs of the families we serve.

That allows us to keep things simple, personal, and affordable while still providing the level of care we would expect for our own family.

Straightforward From Beginning to End

Our $1,995 direct cremation package is designed to cover the primary services most families need for a standard direct cremation. There are a few circumstances where an additional cost may apply.

The required cremation authorization or permit is approximately $50 to $75, depending on the county or issuing authority. One certified copy of the death certificate is included. Additional certified copies may be ordered at the applicable government fee.

Additional charges may also apply when your family chooses an optional service or when special circumstances require additional care, such as:​

• Private viewing

• Upgraded urns or memorial products

• Shipping cremated remains

• Transportation outside our standard service area

• Bariatric care or other special accommodations

If an additional charge applies to your family’s situation, we will explain it clearly.

Some families want only a simple cremation. Others may want a private viewing, an upgraded urn, keepsakes, or another meaningful way to remember their loved one.
